When women support each other, incredible things can happen:

“An International Women’s Day message, from us & our community of bad ass, creative women”

International Women’s Day is arguably the most important day of the year for us at Lethally Her. However, female empowerment is something we both practice and preach every day of the year. Our platform’s core values are rooted in celebrating the achievements of other gyals and recognising the power and beauty of womanhood. Every day is International Women’s Day at LH HQ.

The world may have changed a lot since IWD began way back in the early 1900s, but the mission remains the same. We must use this day to celebrate influential figures in our lives, boast about our achievements and continue to fight for women’s rights and amplify the voices of others.

We want to continue using our platform in the same way we first imagined it, by uplifting women who are killing it in their industries. So, in the true spirit of IWD, it’s time to shine the spotlight on a few incredible gyals in our community - who continue to inspire us to be our baddest selves, every single day:

Daisy Morris spent eight years working in creative agencies, fashion houses and events for some of the world’s biggest brands, before founding The Selfhood in 2020. She considers herself to be a massive empath (show her an advert of a cute baby and she will cry) but this is her marketing superpower.

Her ability to connect brands with their audience on a deep level, means she is an expert at building purpose-led links between businesses and their communities. Sure, she knows how to get you big sales results, but for her, it’s all about the feels.
